what great fun! Love to share this special event. Some of our most respected and influential people in the community are gay. Let’s celebrate them..

  2. What are they proud of? I want to have a “straight” pride day parade. Isn’t this ridiculous? Do we really have to close a major recreation area for this nonsense? why can’t these people live their life and not intrude on the rest of us? WE DON’T CARE! YOU’RE NOT SPECIAL, NOR ARE YOU SUPERIOR! You’re NOT the next level in human evolution! Get a real life, cut your lawn, do yardwork, go have a picnic, whatever. Leave the rest of us alone.

    1. it’s not about being better or more special. Gay marriage was only legalized in 2015. No one is forcing you to attend the parade either. God forbid they want to celebrate being able to be themselves. Straight people have never been excluded either, a lot of the people in Queer Northshore are actually allies just trying to show their support. Also queer people to live normal lives outside of pride month(shocker). Grow up and if you don’t want to celebrate (here comes a doozy) don’t celebrate.
